Scammers use AI to make fake faces look real, i recently saw an interviewer asking a candidate to put 3 fingers in front of their face which abruptly ended the call. These faces look like real people and if you are unsuspecting you will never find a difference. They use AI to make fake voices sound like a person familiar to you. These voices sound kind. They even use Deepfakes. This is a program that puts a fake face on a thief during a video call.
The Fattening Trick
Thieves use a plan called Pig Butchering.
The Hello: They text you by mistake.
The Hug: They talk to you every day. They make you trust them.
The Trap: They ask you to put money in a fake app.
The Theft: They take all your money and run away.
Kind of similar to modern dating scene on apps right.

How to Stay Safe
You must be a digital detective. Use these tests:
The Hand Test: Ask them to wave their hand in front of their face on a video call. A fake AI face will look blurry or jittery.
The Whisper Test: Ask them to whisper. AI voices cannot whisper well. They will sound like a broken robot.
The Money Rule: Never send money to someone you only know on your phone.
Do not trust a screen. Trust only what you see in the real world. Thieves use your kindness to rob you. Stay sharp.
